Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, accompanied by his wife Suman Saini, took a holy dip in the sacred waters of Triveni Sangam at Arail Pakka Ghat during the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The spiritual occasion witnessed a massive gathering of devotees from across the country, as people immersed themselves in the ancient Sanatan traditions deeply rooted in Indian culture. The Chief Minister performed traditional rituals and observed the grandeur of this sacred congregation, highlighting the profound cultural and religious significance of the Kumbh Mela.

Expressing his reverence for the Maha Kumbh, Nayab Singh Saini emphasized that this festival holds immense importance in Indian traditions. He noted that every Sanatani aspires to take a dip in the holy Sangam during the Kumbh Mela, as it is believed to be a path to salvation. Citing ancient scriptures, he stated that bathing in the sacred waters of the Kumbh washes away sins and paves the way for spiritual liberation. The presence of revered sages and saints from across the nation further enhances the sanctity of this grand religious gathering, making it a divine experience for all devotees.

Describing the unparalleled significance of Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati rivers, the Chief Minister marveled at the spiritual and visual splendor of this sacred site. He expressed admiration for the magnificent scene unfolding at the holy land of Prayagraj, where millions of devotees gather to seek blessings. Calling the pilgrimage to Prayagraj a divine and extraordinary experience, he acknowledged the Maha Kumbh as a unique spiritual event that strengthens the faith and cultural ethos of India.

In a move to extend this religious experience to the elderly citizens of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini announced that the state government has expanded the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yojana, now incorporating the Maha Kumbh as a part of the pilgrimage scheme. Under this initiative, special buses have been arranged from every district of Haryana to transport senior citizens to Prayagraj, allowing them to participate in this sacred ritual and witness the grandeur of the Kumbh firsthand. The Haryana government remains committed to promoting religious tourism and ensuring that devotees from the state have access to such spiritually enriching experiences.

Accompanying the Chief Minister at the Maha Kumbh were BJP State President Mohan Lal Badoli and other dignitaries, who also took part in the religious observances. The presence of political leaders and devotees in such large numbers underscored the significance of this ancient festival in preserving and celebrating India’s rich spiritual heritage.
