Haryana government to upgrade health facilities, build teacher education institute, and sports stadium

Haryana Minister Anil Vij, Mool Chand Sharma, and Sardar Sandeep Singh made several key announcements during the ongoing Haryana Assembly session, highlighting the state government’s focus on various development initiatives.
Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij
announced that the state government has completed mapping of health facilities in the state and identified gaps in infrastructure, staffing, and equipment. He said that the government has decided to fill these gaps within the next three years.

Haryana Higher Education Minister Mool Chand Sharma said that the government has released a non-recurring grant of Rs 15 crore for the State Institute of Advanced Studies in Teacher Education (SIASSTE) in Jhajjar. He said that the institute is offering a four-year integrated B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed. course and is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Haryana Printing and Stationery Minister Sardar Sandeep Singh said that the construction work of the sports stadium building in Silana village of Jhajjar district has been completed and the work on various playgrounds is 30 percent complete. He said that the stadium will have facilities for athletic clay track, football field, basketball, volleyball, handball, lawn tennis court, kabaddi, hockey field etc. He said that the work will be completed in the next two months.

  • The Haryana government has decided to upgrade the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Dahina village of Rewari district to a Community Health Center (CHC).
  • The government has also decided to construct a sports hostel in Ambala district at a cost of Rs 1318.54 lakh under the Scheduled Caste Component scheme.
