Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reiterated the government’s commitment to empowering youth and fostering skill development while participating in a program organized by Swami Vivekanand Utthan Samiti at Kardasan village in Ambala district. Addressing attendees, the Chief Minister highlighted the state’s vision to equip every young individual with necessary skills and financial independence by 2030, emphasizing ongoing efforts and initiatives aimed at achieving this goal.
Paying tribute to Swami Vivekananda, the Chief Minister said his government draws inspiration from the spiritual leader’s teachings and continues to provide merit-based employment opportunities. He stated that over 171,000 youth have been granted government jobs based solely on their qualifications without any intermediaries or undue expenses. Additionally, the Haryana Kaushal Rojgar Nigam is playing a vital role in ensuring job security while providing meaningful employment to young citizens.
As part of the program, Chief Minister Saini offered floral tributes to a statue of Swami Vivekananda and participated in a ceremonial ritual alongside committee members, who honored him with flowers and mementos. Acknowledging the significance of Indian festivals, Saini extended greetings for Lohri and Makar Sankranti, noting how Swami Vivekananda’s contributions amplified India’s cultural pride on the global stage.
The Chief Minister encouraged youth to abstain from substance abuse and draw inspiration from Swami Vivekananda’s teachings, who remains a guiding figure for generations. He urged young people to actively engage in politics, emphasizing that their participation is essential to shaping the nation’s future, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for greater youth involvement in governance.
During his journey to Kardasan, Saini paused his convoy to interact with local residents, attentively listening to their concerns and addressing complaints. He promptly directed officials to resolve electricity-related issues raised by the villagers. The gesture resonated with the elderly present, who expressed joy at the Chief Minister’s presence, while Saini sought their blessings.
The event saw the participation of several prominent figures, including Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta, along with a significant gathering of local residents and dignitaries, reflecting the state’s dedication to its citizens and the collective vision of building a prosperous Haryana through youth engagement and empowerment.
