Haryana Kaushal Rojgar Nigam Ensures Reservation for SC/BC Communities in Manpower Deployment

Chandigarh, February 27: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has assured that the Haryana Kaushal Rojgar Nigam (HKRN) strictly adheres to the reservation policy for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Backward Classes (BC) in its manpower deployment.

Key Highlights:

  • Reservation Compliance:
    • SC: 20.63%
    • BC-A: 15.64% against 16% reservation
    • BC-B: 11.4% against 11% reservation
  • New Provision:
    • Once selected through HKRN, government departments are required to onboard the youth.
  • Overseas Employment:
    • 219 youth selected for employment in Israel
    • Salary: Over ₹1 lakh per month

Reservation Policy:

The Chief Minister clarified that HKRN does not have any permanent recruitment, and the manpower is deployed on a temporary basis. The number of employees varies as per the requirements of the departments. Nevertheless, the government ensures that the reservation for SC and BC communities is fulfilled.

HKRN’s Role in Private Sector:

HKRN also facilitates employment opportunities for youth in the private sector. The registered data of youth is provided to private industries based on their requirements, and the industries then hire the youth as per their needs.

Integration with HRMS:

To streamline the process, the government is integrating the HKRN portal with HRMS. This will ensure that departments cannot change their manpower requirements after the selection of youth. Once selected, the departments will be required to onboard them compulsorily.

Overseas Employment Opportunities:

To provide employment opportunities abroad, HKRN has collaborated with the Department of Foreign Cooperation to register youth through its portal. In collaboration with the Israeli government and the National Skill Development Mission, 219 youth have been selected for employment in Israel. They will receive a salary of over ₹1 lakh per month along with insurance coverage.

The Haryana government’s initiatives through HKRN are ensuring inclusive and sustainable employment opportunities for youth across various sectors, including overseas opportunities.
