Haryana Youth Delegation Prepared to Conquer National Youth Festival in Delhi

January 8: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Naib Singh Saini, today gave a rousing send-off to a 75-member youth delegation from the state, who are set to participate in the prestigious National Youth Festival in New Delhi from January 10th to 12th. Expressing confidence in their abilities, the Chief Minister urged the young participants to strive for excellence and bring laurels to the state.

“Wherever Haryana’s youth go, they leave an indelible mark,” declared Chief Minister Saini. “Haryana has consistently demonstrated its prowess at the national level, and I am confident that this year, our delegation will secure the top position at the National Youth Festival.” He emphasized that the youth of Haryana are known for their dedication, hard work, and determination, and urged them to carry this spirit forward.

Highlighting the state’s commitment to youth development, Chief Minister Saini emphasized the government’s efforts in providing employment opportunities, skill development, and support for self-employment initiatives. He further urged the youth to stay away from drugs and embrace a healthy lifestyle through active participation in sports and other constructive activities.

The Haryana delegation comprises 30 youth who excelled in various categories at the state-level youth festival, including folk song, folk dance, speech, story writing, painting, poetry writing, and innovation in science and technology, along with 45 participants selected for the “Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue.”

The National Youth Festival, themed “Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue,” will witness the participation of approximately one lakh youth from across the nation.
