Haryana’s STF nabs two wanted criminals

Chandigarh, June 29

 

The Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police has arrested two wanted criminals carrying a collective reward of Rs 10,000.

While sharing the information here today, the spokesperson of Haryana Police said that in the first operation, STF Sonipat Unit has arrested Manjit, a resident of village Guhanna, Sonipat. Carrying a reward of Rs 5000 on his head, he was wanted in heinous cases of murder, attempt to murder, and under the Arms Act. He was serving a life sentence and had been absconding since April 2020.

In another crackdown, a wanted criminal absconding for the last five years was arrested from Mundhal. Police has declared a reward of Rs. 5000 on his arrest. He was arrested by a team of STF Gurugram after a tip-off. Three cases were registered against him in Haryana’s Mahendergarh and Panchkula and one in Rajasthan.
