Himachal CM Observes Armed Forces Flag Day, Encourages Public Contribution

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu marked Armed Forces Flag Day by receiving the ceremonial flag from Brigadier Madan Sheel Sharma, Director of the Sainik Welfare Department, in a solemn event held today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister made a personal contribution to the Armed Forces Welfare Fund, reiterating its significance in supporting the welfare of serving personnel and veterans.

Highlighting the importance of the fund, Chief Minister Sukhu called on citizens to contribute generously, emphasizing that their support directly benefits the welfare and rehabilitation of ex-servicemen and their families.

Health and Sainik Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil and MLA Harish Janartha were also present, lending their support to this noble initiative.
