Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Addresses Media, Reaffirms Commitment to Transparency and Education
Shimla, Himachal Pradesh: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu addressed the media today, expressing his satisfaction with the positive response to the “Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar” initiative. This program aims to bring government information, policies, and decisions directly to the people at the village level.
“The enthusiasm among the people is clear,” stated Sukhu. “Through Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar, we’re ensuring awareness about our welfare schemes and their impact on lives. People are realizing that these benefits never reached them at such a grassroots level under the previous BJP government.”
Addressing concerns about the delay in JOA (IT) recruitment results, the Chief Minister assured a swift resolution. “We’re diligently reviewing legal aspects, and the results will be announced soon,” he affirmed. “We remain committed to transparency and timely action.”
Regarding the controversial issue of guest faculty in schools, Sukhu clarified that this is a temporary measure to avoid disruptions in student education. “Guest teachers will be hired solely on merit and only for vacant positions due to transfers, long leaves, or other specific situations,” he explained. “The opposition’s criticism is purely political and ignores the need for uninterrupted learning.”
