Shimla, Himachal Pradesh: In a significant development for the state’s infrastructure sector, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu flagged off 15 new tippers for the Public Works Department (PWD) on Tuesday. This initiative marks a crucial step towards enhancing departmental efficiency and addressing machinery shortages.

- 15 New Tippers Deployed: The newly acquired tippers will be distributed across various B&R Divisions within the state, including Shimla, Bhabhanagar, Rampur, Kalpa, Rohru, Jubbal, Kotkhai, and Nirmand.
- ₹60 Crore Allocated for Machinery Procurement: To further strengthen the PWD’s capabilities, the Chief Minister announced a ₹60 crore allocation for procuring essential machinery like tippers, JCBs, and Poclains.
