Himachal Pradesh Congress Bolsters Leadership Ahead of Elections

In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and Assembly by-elections on June 1, the Himachal Pradesh Congress has expanded its leadership by appointing two additional working presidents, bringing the total to four. Chander Kumar leads the pack as the first working president, joined by chief parliamentary secretary Sanjay Awasthi and Mandi district’s sole Congress MLA Chander Shekhar. With the BJP fielding all six Congress rebels, these appointments are pivotal for Congress’ survival and government stability.
