 Himachal Pradesh Govt Appoints Rajeev Kumar as Director Information and Public Relations

In a significant move, the state government of Himachal Pradesh has entrusted additional responsibilities to Himachal Administrative Services (HAS) officer Rajeev Kumar, apart from his role as Chief Minister’s Principal Private Secretary. Rajeev Kumar has been appointed as the Director of Information and Public Relations (IPR). He will also assume additional duties as Secretary and CEO of the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board in Shimla, as well as the GM of HP Medical Services Corporation Limited, Shimla.

Previously, Rajeev Kumar held the additional charge of Director IPR. However, due to the promotion of Aarti Gupta to the position of Director, he was relieved of this responsibility. With Aarti Gupta’s retirement, Rajeev Kumar has been entrusted with the additional charge once again. The state government has issued an official notification regarding this development. This appointment underscores the government’s commitment to efficient administration and public relations.
