Shimla, January 6, 2024: A wave of swift resolution is sweeping through Himachal Pradesh as the state’s Revenue Lok Adalats achieve remarkable results. Organized on January 4th and 5th, these special courts tackled a staggering 24,091 mutation and partition cases, offering much-needed relief to countless citizens.
Mutation Mania:
The numbers speak for themselves! Over 20,547 mutation cases found closure through the Lok Adalats, streamlining property ownership transfer processes. This significant figure highlights the courts’ effectiveness in addressing a common pain point for residents.
Partition Progress:
But the achievements go beyond mutation. A record-breaking 3,544 partition cases were resolved within a single month (December 3rd to January 5th), surpassing the total number of new cases registered during December (1,823). This 200% success rate in partition disputes marks a historic milestone for the courts.

Recognizing the immense value of Lok Adalats, Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to organizing these courts regularly.
