Himachal Pradesh’s Sumit Singla Receives International Excellence Award in British Parliament

Sumit Singla, a young industrialist and Managing Director of Curetech Group, has been honored with the prestigious International Excellence Award – 2024 by the World Book of Records UK during a grand ceremony held at the British Parliament. This recognition highlights Singla’s remarkable contributions to world-class drug manufacturing and his commitment to social service. The award was presented in the iconic Churchill Room of the House of Commons in London, attended by dignitaries from around the globe, including British Members of Parliament and influential figures from various sectors.

The event celebrated not only Singla’s achievements but also acknowledged the contributions of Reshu Singla, his wife and the only female entrepreneur from the BBN region, who is the Chairperson and Managing Director of OBN Herbals. Their recognition at such a prestigious international platform is a proud moment for the Indian pharmaceutical industry, showcasing the potential and talent emerging from Himachal Pradesh.

Among the notable attendees were UK MPs Joy Morrissey and Virender Sharma, along with prominent personalities such as Mahanubhav Rajrajeshwar Guruji, founder of Siddhashram Shakti Center, and Mahendra Singh C. Jadeja, Global Vice President of the Global Indian Organization UK. The ceremony honored 60 eminent individuals from 42 countries for their outstanding achievements across various fields, further emphasizing the global significance of the event.

During the ceremony, a special edition of the London Press Magazine was released, featuring a message from Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. In his message, Sukhu expressed gratitude to the organizers for recognizing deserving individuals on an international stage, which he believes will inspire industrialists, artists, and others in their respective fields to strive for excellence.

Sumit Singla, reflecting on his journey, credited his late brother, Amit Singla, for the foundation of Curetech Group and emphasized the importance of quality in drug manufacturing. He highlighted that the company has provided employment to over a thousand individuals and is committed to adhering to global pharmaceutical standards. Singla has also received honorary doctorate degrees from various institutions worldwide, including a recent doctorate from an international university in Istanbul, Turkey, in recognition of his social contributions and achievements in the pharmaceutical sector.
