Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur expressed its gratitude towards Government of India especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National leadership of BJP for according Scheduled Tribe Status to Hatti community of Trans Giri area of Sirmaur district which was pending since 1967.
HP State Cabinet Decisions
The Cabinet decided to make part time panchayat chowkidars who have completed 12 years of continuous service as daily wagers Panchayat Employees.
It decided to rename the library of one college in every district of the State as Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar District Library as a mark of respect to the founder of the Indian Constitution.
The Cabinet decided to upgrade temporary Police Post Ladbharol in Mandi district to Police Station alongwith creation and filling up of 8 posts of different categories.
It also decided to upgrade Police Post Pandoh in Mandi district to Police Station alongwith creation and filling up of 8 posts of different categories.
It also decided to create new Sub Divisional Office (Civil) at Sunni in Shimla district to facilitate the people of the area.
The Cabinet gave its nod to create new Development Block Office at Ramshahar in Solan district alongwith creation and filling up of 14 posts of different categories.
It decided to issue Letter of Intent in favour of M/s Cider Mills Private Limited at village Lakhawati, P.O. Nerwa tehsil Chopal in district Shimla for setting up of fruits based winery plant.
It accorded its approval for issuing Letter of Intent in favour of M/s Himachal Nectars Pvt. Limited Unit No. 2 Plot No. 1 Industrial Area Banalgi tehsil Kasauli, district Solan for setting up fruits based winery plant.
It decided to open new Primary Schools at village Bhatiyota in GP Chanju, Education Block Kalhel, at Village Burilla in GP Sasaurgarh Education Block Kalhel and GPS Khandeerka in GP Kuther, Education Block Kiyani in Churah assembly constituency of district Chamba.
The Cabinet gave its nod to open new Primary School at village Kandi in GP Gopalpur, Education Block Banjar in district Kullu.
It also gave its consent to re-open Primary Schools in village Sunog in GP Shiva, at village Behlla in GP Behlla Education Block Sataun in Paonta Sahib assembly constituency of Sirmaur district.
It decided to open new primary school at Bhaliyari in GP Khani in Education Block Seraj –II of district Mandi.
It also decided to open new Primary School at Saroot in GP Mashiyar in Education Block Banjar in district Kullu.
The Cabinet decided to open new Primary School in village Gawah-Badi in GP Rast, Education Block Shillai in Shillai assembly constituency of Sirmaur district.
It decided to upgrade veterinary dispensary Suliali and Veterinary Dispensary Kherian in Nurpur Vidhan Sabha area of district Kangra to Veterinary Hospitals alongwith creation and filling up of three posts each to man these hospitals.
It also decided to open new veterinary hospital at Jachh in district Kangra alongwith five posts of different categories.
The Cabinet decided to open new Forest Division (Wildlife) at Janjehli, district Mandi alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts of different categories.
It also decided to open new PWD Sub Division at Kapahara in district Bilaspur alongwith a new PWD Section at Kapahara alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts. It also gave its nod to create new PWD Section at Baged under Sub Division Ghumarwin.
It gave its nod to open new Courts of Civil Judge at Padhar and Dharampur in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of 13 posts each of different categories for these Courts.
It also gave its consent to create and fill up 13 posts of different categories in newly opened Police Station Brahmpukhar in district Bilaspur.
It also decided for creation and establishment of State Fund for Control of Drug Abuse. The aim of establishment this Fund is to combat illicit traffic of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances, awareness generation, identification, counseling, treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts through government/voluntary/ other organizations and institutions.
The Cabinet decided to create 10 posts of Superintendents grade-I in 10 offices of the Chief Medical Officers of the State.
It decided to open Primary Health Centre at Summer Hill Shimla alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
It also decided to upgrade Primary Health Centre Subathu in Solan district to Community Health Centre and creation of two posts.
It gave its nod to open new Health Sub Centre at Karaha in district Hamirpur alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It also gave its consent to upgrade Primary Health Centre Bhareri in Hamirpur district to Community Health Centre alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It decided to open new Health Sub Centre in Gram Panchayat Jadali in Solan district alognwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It gave its consent to upgrade Primary Health Centre Matiyana in district Shimla to 30 bedded Community Health Centre alongwith creation and filling up of 10 posts of different categories.
It also gave its nod to increase the bed capacity of Civil Hospital Theog from 150 to 200 beds alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
The Cabinet decided to open primary health centre at Thathal-Jangal in GP Jaddu Kuljiyar in district Bilaspur alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It also decided to open new Health Sub Centre at village Tikkar in GP Tikkar, Sub Tehsil Panchrukhi in district Kangra alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It gave its nod to open new Block Medical Office at Balichowki in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of six posts of different categories.
It also gave its consent to open new government college at Baranda in Nurpur assembly constituency of Kangra district with a provision of Rs. 5 crore for developing infrastructure.
The Cabinet decided to open Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya in village Panjalag in Jogindernagar area of Mandi district.
The Cabinet decided to take over privately managed Sanatan Dharam Sanskrit College Chamba as Government Sanskrit College, Chamba and to create and fill up the posts on the pattern of other Sanskrit Colleges.
It decided to upgrade veterinary dispensaries Dansa and Kholighat to veterinary hospitals in Rampur assembly constituency of Shimla district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts each for these hospitals.
It also decided to create new patwar circle Malron under Sub Tehsil Kalol in Bilaspur district.
The Cabinet gave its nod to open new Kanungo circle Katgoan under Nichar Tehsil in district Kinnaur.
It also gave its consent to open new Sub Tehsil at Baragoan under Tehsil Kumarsain in district Shimla alongwith creation and filling up of 12 posts of different categories.
It decided to enhance the bed capacity of Community Health Centre Thunag in district Mandi to 50 beds alongwith creation and filling up of 30 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave its nod for the externally aided project ‘Providing Water and Sanitation facilities to five towns of Himachal Pradesh’ viz. Manali, Palampur, Bilaspur, Nahan and Karsog to be funded by Agence Francaise De Developpement (AFD) and authorization for signing of Project Agreement.
It also decided to rename Government Middle School Surajpur as Shaheed Sher Singh Memorial Government Middle School Surajpur and Government Middle School Bhedewala as Shaheed Balvir Singh Memorial Government Middle School Bhedewala in district Sirmaur.
It also decided to rename Government Senior Secondary School Kudlakhadak as Shaheed Shri Prashant Thakur Government Senior Secondary School Kudlakhadak in district Sirmaur.
The Cabinet gave its approval to upgrade Government Middle Schools, Devka, Nalka and Kodewala in Nahan assembly constituency of Sirmaur district to Government High Schools alongwith creation and filling up of 21 posts of different categories.
It also gave its approval to upgrade Government High School, Dhanag to Government Senior Secondary School and Government Middle School, Panjala to Government High School in Baijnath assembly constituency of Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
The Cabinet decided to convert the trade Desktop Publishing Operator to Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) and Multimedia Animation and Special Effects to Electrician alongwith posts in Government Industrial Training Institute, Koti Padhog in tehsil Rajgarh of district Sirmaur.
