He then actively participated in the traditional Shobha Yatra Jaleb procession, which commenced from the temple itself. Thousands of devotees, adorned in their finest traditional attire, enthusiastically carried the palanquins of their local deities towards the Paddal Ground. Additionally, a 10% hike in the honorarium of the Bajantris, who play a crucial role in preserving and performing religious music, was announced. These pronouncements highlight the government’s focus on not only preserving religious traditions but also ensuring fair compensation for those who dedicate their lives to their continuation.
