Jai Inder Kaur Assumes Leadership of BJP Punjab Mahila Morcha, Emphasizes Outreach on Pro-Women Policies
Chandigarh, October 4
Jai Inder Kaur, the newly appointed President of the BJP Punjab Mahila Morcha, took charge and presided over her first meeting at the BJP Punjab headquarters in Chandigarh. In this significant gathering, she conveyed her gratitude to the BJP high command, Punjab President Sunil Jakhar, Punjab in-charge Vijay Rupani, Punjab General Secretary in-charge Minister Srinivaslu ji, and all those who entrusted her with the responsibility of serving both the party and the people of Punjab in this esteemed position.
Addressing the district presidents and office bearers of Mahila Morcha, Jai Inder Kaur outlined her vision for the future, saying, “Our collective efforts will elevate the party and the Mahila Morcha to new heights. Numerous initiatives have been undertaken to promote the development and empowerment of women in society, exemplified by the recent Women’s Reservation Bill. It is now our duty to disseminate information about these initiatives and other women-centric schemes of the Modi government to every household in Punjab.”
She emphasized that by raising awareness about the BJP government’s measures for our welfare among the people of Punjab, there will be no need to solicit votes, as the progressive BJP government’s actions will earn the support of the populace. They will willingly cast their votes in favor of the party.
Jai Inder Kaur also called upon Mahila Morcha workers to actively participate in the anti-drug campaign within villages, underlining the importance of their involvement in this critical social issue.
Present at the meeting alongside Jai Inder Kaur were former Mahila Morcha President Meen Sethi and the entire Punjab unit. This gathering marks the beginning of a new chapter under Jai Inder Kaur’s leadership, with a focus on advancing the cause of women and effectively communicating the pro-women policies of the Modi government to the people of Punjab.
