Kangana Ranaut, BJP Candidate, Counters Rahul Gandhi’s Democracy Remarks, Sets Ambitious Election Goals in Mandi

Actor Kangana Ranaut, contesting from the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency on a BJP ticket, rebuffed Rahul Gandhi’s accusations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government, calling them baseless. She asserted that Rahul Gandhi’s understanding of democracy seemed lacking, emphasizing the need for clarity on its definition.

Attending a party meeting on Monday alongside senior BJP leaders to strategize for the polls, Kangana expressed determination to secure victory in all four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh, contributing to the BJP’s target of achieving over 400 seats in the elections.

Addressing the derogatory remarks made by Congress leader Supriya Shrinate against women in Mandi, Kangana affirmed that the voters would respond fittingly. The meeting, attended by state BJP president Rajeev Bindal, Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, and other local BJP leaders, focused on formulating winning strategies for the elections.

Acknowledging the challenges of the political battle ahead, Kangana emphasized the need for hard work. However, the task ahead in Mandi, where she is contesting her first Lok Sabha elections, presents a formidable challenge. The BJP’s veteran presence and the silence of the former Lok Sabha MP from BJP thus far indicate a tough road ahead.

Stay tuned as Kangana Ranaut’s political journey unfolds in Mandi, promising to be a compelling narrative in the upcoming elections.
