Losing control of the vehicle, they collided with a tree, sustaining severe injuries. Despite their injuries, the police managed to apprehend all three individuals.

DCP Teja revealed the harrowing details of the victim’s ordeal. On December 19th morning, while boarding an auto to work, she found herself trapped in a nightmare. The driver, Jarnail Singh, already had one passenger onboard, and soon another accomplice joined them. They then deviated from the route, driving the terrified victim to a secluded spot near a canal. There, the three men taped her mouth, subjecting her to a brutal sexual assault before abandoning her at the crime scene. Adding to the trauma, they stole her mobile phone.

Fighting Back, Seeking Help, and Finding Justice:

With remarkable resilience, the victim managed to reach the main road and flag down passersby, who then helped her contact the police. The swift response from the police and medical personnel provided crucial support in her recovery.

Further Investigation and Hope for Justice:

The arrested suspects, known for their involvement in bike thefts in the Jagraon area, are currently undergoing medical treatment and will be presented in court soon. The police have recovered the victim’s mobile phone and other crucial evidence from the crime scene.
