Chandigarh, August 7- Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij has congratulated Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra on winning the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics today.
 
 Sh. Vij tweeted today, "Congratulations toJavelin thrower Neeraj Chopra for creating history by win ning the first #Gold medal for India at #Tokyo2020; throw 87.58 meters in first attempt. Haryana Govt.will give Rs.6 crore, Service and a plot as incentive".
 
 Congratulating Neeraj Chopra today, Sh. Vij said that Neeraj Chopra has created history by winning a gold medal in the Javelin Throw sport at the Tokyo Olympics and today has made every Indian proud.  He said that today every Indian is celebrating his victory. Today the flag is hoisted with pride, along with the gold medal, at the Tokyo Olympics. He said that today is a historic day and this day will always be remembered and will make us proud.
 
 Sh. Vij said that Haryana Government respects sportspersons. Neeraj Chopra will be given a reward of Rs 6 crore and a job. Along with this, he will be given a plot and all this will be given as soon as he steps the Indian soil.
 
 On this occasion, people with Sh. Vij celebrated by dancing and also raised 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' slogans
