Chandigarh, August 1 – Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij has extended congratulations to India's badminton player, P.V. Sindhu for winning the bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics.
 
 Sh. Vij tweeted that"Congratulations to shuttler PV Sindhu for winning bronze medal for India in #TokyoOlympics2020".
 
He said that India's star badminton player, P.V. Sindhu had performed exceptionally well in the Tokyo Olympics. P.V. Sindhu has once again made India proud and India's name is shining in the global sports event as she has won a bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics.
 
Recently, Sh. Vij had expressed hope that badminton player P.V. Sindhu would bring glory to India in the Tokyo Olympics and would definitely win a medal.
 
It is noteworthy that in badminton, P.V. Sindhu defeated He-Bing Jiao in straight games to win a bronze medal at the Tokyo Games and became the first Indian female player to win two individual Olympic medals. P.V. Sindhu created history on Sunday as Sindhu defeated He-Bing Jiao 21-13 and 21-15 in the bronze medal bout. Sindhu did not give any opportunity her opponent to lead in this entire match.
