Dharamsala (Arvind Sharma) 18/12/21

Governor Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar said that Ayurveda is India's permanent system of medicine, which is being adopted by the world today.

The Governor said this while addressing the heads of departments of various faculties at Government Ayurvedic College, Paprola on Thursday.

He said,” it is ironic that Ayurveda medicine is taken as an alternative medicine even though it is permanent and is present in every household. This college can play an important role in changing this mindset. The government is promoting Ayurvedic medicine in a big way. Ayurvedic ‘Kaadha’ and ‘Kwath’ have been widely recognized in this era of corona epidemic.”

Through this, we can also inspire others towards medicinal plants. He said that he has spoken to the State Forest Department in this regard. He said that the college can make a significant contribution in this direction. He said that students can play the role of a catalyst in this work.
