Pakistan Cricket Team Arrives in Hyderabad for ODI World Cup

Team to Play Warm-Up Games Against New Zealand and Australia

Hyderabad, India, September 27, 2023: The Pakistan cricket team arrived in Hyderabad on Wednesday for the first time in seven years to compete in the ODI World Cup, which begins on October 5.

The Babar Azam-led side will spend a lot of time in Hyderabad, having arrived from Dubai where it had a nine-hour layover. The squad had left Lahore in the wee hours of Wednesday and reached Hyderabad in the night.

Pakistan will play its opening warm-up game against New Zealand on September 29 before taking on Australia on October 3. They will open their tournament against the Netherlands in Hyderabad before battling Sri Lanka on October 10.

Only Mohammad Nawaz and Salman Ali Agha have visited India for cricket. Babar Azam could not play the T20 World Cup in India in 2016 due to an injury.
