Prime Minister Modi Continues Diwali Tradition, Celebrates with Security Forces in Lepcha, Himachal Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi continued his annual tradition of celebrating Diwali with the nation’s security forces, this time amidst the majestic backdrop of Lepcha in Himachal Pradesh. Embracing the festival of lights, the Prime Minister engaged with troops from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police and the Indian Army, a gesture he has maintained since assuming office in 2014.

The festive occasion was marked by Prime Minister Modi’s arrival in Lepcha to join the soldiers in their Diwali celebrations. Over the years, this tradition has seen the Prime Minister visiting various military facilities during the auspicious festival, extending his gratitude and camaraderie to the armed forces.

In a social media post on ‘X’ platform, Prime Minister Modi expressed his enthusiasm for joining the brave security forces, stating, “Reached Lepcha in Himachal Pradesh to celebrate Diwali with our brave security forces.”

As part of the celebration, the Prime Minister interacted with the troops, conveying his heartfelt regards and participating in the festivities. His visit was not only a display of solidarity and appreciation but also a symbolic gesture of acknowledging the sacrifices and dedication of the armed forces in safeguarding the nation.
