Public Dialogue Programs in Karnal’s Legislative Assemblies to Address Citizens’ Complaints: Manohar Lal
Chandigarh, July 13 – Central Minister for Power, Housing, and Urban Development, Manohar Lal, addressed grievances from the public during a “Jan Samvad” (Public Dialogue) program at RPIIT College auditorium in Bastara village, Gharaunda Assembly, Karnal. During the event, he heard around 200 complaints, taking immediate action on two salary-related issues by ordering vigilance inquiries on the spot. Manohar Lal announced plans to conduct similar dialogue programs across all legislative assemblies in his constituency, ensuring direct engagement with citizens to resolve their issues. He reiterated the government’s commitment to providing housing to every eligible poor individual under schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Yojana. He emphasized that both central and state governments are working tirelessly to deliver benefits to eligible citizens right at their doorstep. Directing officials, he stressed the importance of prioritizing public grievances in their offices and ensuring timely resolutions. Manohar Lal also declared a zero-tolerance policy towards crime in Haryana, applauding the police for their commendable work in a recent encounter with three criminals. He assured that the police would continue their rigorous actions against criminals. Gharaunda MLA Harvinder Kalyan highlighted the historic decisions and welfare schemes initiated during Manohar Lal’s tenure as Chief Minister, which continue to benefit the people of Haryana. Various department officials and staff were present at the event, reflecting a collaborative effort to address public concerns.
