Public holiday on Poll day in Himachal Pradesh

The State Government has declared a public holiday on poll day i.e. 12th November, 2022 to the employees working in government offices/ boards/Corporations/ educational institutions and industrial establishments situated in Himachal Pradesh on account of assembly elections in the State. A notification in this behalf has been issued by the Chief Secretary’s office yesterday. It will also be a paid holiday to daily waged employees.
