In a New Year’s bonanza for Punjab’s youth, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today handed over appointment letters to 520 newly recruited Clerks cum Data Entry Operators in the Punjab State Cooperative Bank. The ceremony, held at Tagore Theatre, marked another step in the government’s commitment to reviving the state’s fortunes and empowering its young citizens.

“This is not just a function,” declared Chief Minister Mann, addressing the eager gathering. “Over 40,000 young people have already received job letters under our administration. We are rebuilding Punjab’s glory, and our youth are partners in this mission.”

Punjab’s Legacy and Spirit:

Hailing the land’s rich history and resilience, Mann lauded Punjabis’ innate entrepreneurial spirit and leadership qualities. He emphasized their contribution to the nation’s progress, both within India and across the globe. “This Punjabi spirit will propel the state forward,” he asserted, pledging the government’s unwavering support.

Honoring Sacrifices, Building a Better Future:

Acknowledging the sacrifices made by Punjabis in the fight for freedom, the Chief Minister highlighted their unwavering commitment to the nation’s security and food security. He contrasted this dedication with the self-serving agendas of previous governments, criticizing their neglect of the state and its people.

Punjab’s Transformation Under AAP:

Mann outlined his government’s concrete steps towards progress, including the historic acquisition of the Goindwal power plant and the ongoing transformation of hospitals, schools, and medical colleges. He emphasized that these decisions are driven by a deep understanding of the people’s needs, in stark contrast to the “traditional political parties” that have “ruined the state.”

Punjab’s Industrial Renaissance and Investment Boom:

The Chief Minister proudly declared Punjab’s emergence as a leading investment destination. He cited the influx of major companies like Tata Steel and the record-breaking Rs 55,000 crore in investments, all within a year. This economic surge, he predicted, will create 2.95 lakh jobs for the state’s youth.

A New Era for Punjab’s Youth:

Mann contrasted the government’s proactive job creation with the past neglect, highlighting how young people are now receiving multiple opportunities within a year. He urged the youth to embrace humility and hard work, shunning pride and focusing on continuous improvement.

More Jobs to Come, Commitment to Youth Welfare:

The Chief Minister promised further job announcements, with 590 more letters to be distributed on January 18th. He reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of the youth and all sections of society.

Serving the People, Not Harassing Them:

Mann urged the newly recruited clerks to use their positions for the people’s benefit, ensuring justice and service rather than harassment. He pledged the government’s continuous efforts to improve the lives of its citizens.

Taking a Swipe at the Opposition:

Taking a humorous jab at the state BJP chief’s criticism of Punjab’s tableau rejection, the Chief Minister dismissed such voices as “misinformed” and “obstacles to progress.” He condemned the traditional parties’ envy of his common background and commitment to public service.

Accessible Leadership and Open Doors:

Mann emphasized his accessibility and open-door policy, contrasting it with the aloofness of previous administrations. He assured the people that their issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Remembering Martyrs, Condemning Rejection of Tableau:

The Chief Minister concluded by condemning the Union government’s rejection of Punjab’s tableau, calling it an insult to the state’s martyred heroes. He declared that these national icons, including Bhagat Singh and Shaheed Udham Singh, do not need the BJP’s validation.
