he Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Singh Mann, urged citizens to work together to promote communal harmony, brotherhood, and peace in the state. He stated that while any seed can grow on Punjab’s fertile soil, the seed of hatred will never sprout there. He reminded everyone that Punjab is a sacred land where great Gurus, saints, and seers have demonstrated the path of mutual love and tolerance. Punjabis have always opposed tyranny, injustice, and oppression by strengthening the bond of love and harmony.
He praised ISKON society’s efforts to disseminate spiritual knowledge to society, saying that it helps people learn spiritual techniques to address the imbalance of values and life in order to achieve genuine unity, peace, and harmony. He stated that India, particularly Punjab, is a land of fairs and festivals that celebrate the ethos of “Unity in Diversity” while also showcasing the state’s rich cultural heritage and glorious legacy. Bhagwant Singh Mann urged people to spread the message of love, peace, and brotherhood to everyone, regardless of caste, colour, creed, or religion.
He extended his best wishes to the people on the occasion of Dusshera, urging them to raise their voices against the numerous evils that plague society in the spirit of the festival’s message. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the festival is a symbol of good’s ultimate triumph over evil, which is at the heart of the Indian ethos and spirit. He stated that, in line with this festival, the state government is obligated to remove evils such as corruption, unemployment, drugs, and others from the state.
