Punjab Congress Announces Political Campaign Committee for Lok Sabha Elections Amidst Internal Challenges

In a bid to bolster its prospects in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Punjab, the Congress party today unveiled its political campaign committee, comprising 35 leaders tasked with spearheading the party’s campaign across the state. This move comes at a crucial juncture for the Punjab Congress, which has been grappling with internal dissent and defections to the rival BJP.

Led by Shri Rana Kanwar Pal Singh as Chairman, the committee includes notable figures such as Shri Sukhwinder Singh Danny and Shri Hardyal Singh Kamboj as Co-Chairmen, along with Shri Pawan Adia serving as the Senior Vice Chairman and Convenor. The committee also features prominent leaders like Shri Jasbir Singh Dimpa, Shri Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, and Ms. Aruna Chaudhary.

The announcement of the committee underscores the party’s efforts to consolidate its position in Punjab amidst challenges from within and outside.
