During the workshop, attended by over 150 police personnel from various districts, Meta and the Misinformation Combat Alliance provided insights into detecting, debunking, and addressing misinformation on online platforms. The training aimed to enhance Punjab Police’s capacity in utilizing publicly available tools to counter misinformation, malformation, and disinformation propagated through deep fake technology.
