Punjab Police Arrest Four Key Operatives of Bambiha Gang
Chandigarh, October 20: The Punjab Police on Friday arrested four key operatives of the Bambiha Gang in a major breakthrough in their ongoing drive against anti-social elements. The arrested criminals were being handled by the absconding foreign based gangster Gaurav Kumar alias Lucky Patyal.
The arrested persons have been identified as Lakhvir kumar alias Lucky of Dera Bassi, Ravi kumar alias Fauji of Patiala, Gurvinder Singh alias Matto of Patiala and Jatinder Singh alias Soni of Dera Bassi. Police recovered four pistols and 25 live cartridges from their possession, and also impounded their two motorcycles.
The accused persons were arrested from near DPS School located at the old Ambala-Kalka road in Dhakoli, when they were travelling on their two motorcycles. Preliminary investigation revealed that Gangster Lucky Patyal had given assignments to the arrested accused persons to attack specific targets in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh.
