Punjab Police Nabs SFJ Operatives for Pro-Khalistan Slogans in Bathinda & Delhi
Punjab Police, in a joint operation, arrested three Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) operatives for writing pro-Khalistan slogans in Bathinda and Delhi. Gogi Singh, a key SFJ member, is accused of acting on leader Gurpatwant Pannun’s orders in exchange for money. Police recovered phones, dongles, and an Aadhaar card from him.
Following leads from the Bathinda slogans found on April 24, police connected them to similar Delhi incidents on May 9. Gogi Singh, from Jeewan Singh Wala village, was identified as the key operative liaising with Pannun. Johny, from Jeon Singh Wala, was apprehended next, revealing his involvement with Gogi in Bathinda. The third accused, Pritpal Singh from Doad village, was already in Bathinda Jail for similar offenses.
Investigations revealed Gogi met Pritpal in jail and was introduced to Pannun upon release. Pannun allegedly offered money to Gogi for the slogans and instructed him to collect a hidden sum at Muktsar Kotkapura Road. A case (FIR 55 dated 27/4/24) has been registered under IPC Section 153B at Bathinda Civil Lines Police Station.
