“Ramapur HPS Allocates Supplementary Nutritional Aid to BPL Women: A Step Towards Health Empowerment
Ramapur HPS, under the auspices of the SJVN CSR policy, continues its initiatives for the holistic development and health protection of women in affected project villages. In a recent event held on February 29, 2024, Ramapur HPS extended support to economically disadvantaged families (BPL) residing outside the project-affected areas by providing supplementary nutritional aid packs worth ₹2000/- each to 09 women (who delivered their babies at Mahatma Gandhi Medical Services Center, Khaneri, Ramapur) and their infants. This aid, in the form of dry fruits, was distributed as part of a health awareness program organized in the conference hall of the convergence complex, Bayal.
During the event, Project Head Mr. Vikas Marwah reiterated the commitment of SJVN’s Chairperson and Managing Director, Ms. Geeta Kapoor, and the directive of the Board of Directors to provide health protection at crucial stages of women’s lives and ensure the well-being of both mothers and their infants. The event witnessed the presence of all department heads from Ramapur HPS and representatives from the CSR department.
