Rising Star Suhani Bhatnagar Loses Battle to Rare Disease

 The entertainment industry is in mourning after the tragic passing of young actress Suhani Bhatnagar, known for her portrayal of young Babita Phogat in the critically acclaimed film “Dangal.” Suhani, who was only 19 years old, succumbed to a rare medical condition called dermatomyositis at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi.

Promising Career Cut Short:

Suhani’s health struggles began two months ago with swelling in her hands and red rashes spreading across her body. These symptoms progressed to a severe condition, leading to fluid buildup in her body and ultimately affecting her lungs. Despite medical intervention, her condition deteriorated, resulting in her untimely demise.

From ‘Dangal Girl’ to Aspiring Communicator:

Suhani’s journey in the spotlight began at the tender age of six when she played the young Babita Phogat in “Dangal.” Beyond her remarkable performance, she also appeared in several advertisements. At the time of her passing, Suhani was pursuing her studies in mass communication.

Industry Mourns a Talent Lost:

The film industry, including Aamir Khan’s production house, expressed their heartfelt condolences to Suhani’s family. Her father, Puneet Bhatnagar, initially believed the rashes were an allergic reaction, leading them to seek treatment at various hospitals in Faridabad. However, her condition worsened, and she was admitted to AIIMS Delhi ten days before her passing. Sadly, despite efforts, her condition continued to deteriorate, ultimately leading to her passing.

A Legacy of Talent and a Reminder of Life’s Fragility:

Suhani’s final rites were held at the Ajronda cremation ground. Her family, friends, fans, and the entire film industry are left to mourn the loss of a bright and promising talent. Suhani’s untimely demise serves as a stark reminder of life’s fragility and the devastating impact rare diseases can have on individuals and their loved ones.
