In a strong show of support for wrestlers, a massive all-caste mahapanchayat took place in Mundlana village, Sonipat, Haryana. The event witnessed the presence of renowned wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Jyant Chaudhary, along with former Governor Satyapal Malik. During the gathering, Satyapal Singh expressed his dismay over the incident that occurred on May 28, stating that it deeply affected him. Malik announced that Brij Bhushan would also be removed, and those who support him will be ousted in 2024.
The former Governor declared in Sonipat that he would visit Rajasthan to defeat Brij Bhushan and encouraged the wrestlers to join him. He stated, “We stand united with the wrestlers. We will work towards their downfall in every village and seek retribution for our daughters.
Malik further highlighted his political actions, mentioning his participation in the elections while standing beside the bodies of 40 soldiers who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack. He affirmed that he had conveyed to Prime Minister Modi the insufficiency in honoring the sacrifice of our soldiers. Malik also mentioned the silence of NSG (National Security Guard) officer Ajit Doval regarding this matter. He accused Pakistan of diverting attention from the issue and criticized the Ministry of Home Affairs for withholding necessary resources.
Satyapal Malik emphasized the importance of MSP (Minimum Support Price) for farmers and urged them not to be influenced by caste politics. He stated that the fight should focus on securing MSP and challenged opponents to confront him on this matter.
