School Bus Accident Near Pinjore: Over 40 Students Injured, Investigation Underway

In a tragic incident near the hilly region of Pinjore, a school bus overturned in the village of Naulata, leading to injuries for more than 40 students. The injured were promptly transported to hospitals in Pinjore and Panchkula’s Sector-6 Civil Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment. Following the accident, the bus driver and conductor were suspended. Haryana Assembly Speaker and Panchkula MLA, Gian Chand Gupta, along with BJP leader Banto Kataria, visited the hospital to speak with the victims. Gian Chand Gupta attributed the accident to the driver’s negligence, emphasizing that the immediate priority is to ensure the injured children and others receive proper medical care. He also assured a thorough investigation into the bus accident and promised that those responsible would be held accountable. Due to her critical condition, one woman was referred to PGI Chandigarh for advanced treatment. Preliminary reports indicate that the accident was caused by the bus driver’s overspeeding, with additional factors such as overloading and poor road conditions also contributing. The incident took place near Naulata village in Pinjore.
