Sh.Rajeev Verma Takes Charge as Advisor to Administrator of UT Chandigarh
Rajeev Verma, a 1992-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, assumed charge as the Advisor to the Administrator of Chandigarh today, February 7th, 2024. This marks the end of the vacancy created by the retirement of Dharam Pal in October 2023.
Verma brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as the Chief Secretary of Puducherry since May 2022. His diverse career path includes stints as Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Finance in New Delhi, Joint Secretary of Defence, and key positions in departments like Sports, Health, Power, and Transport.
