Shimla HPTDC Lifts to Close Early on Diwali
In a bid to facilitate its employees to celebrate the festival of lights, the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has announced that its lifts at Mall Road, Shimla will remain closed after 3:00 PM on Diwali.
The announcement was made by HPTDC Managing Director Amit Kashyap, who informed that the decision was taken in the best interests of the employees and to ensure that they have ample time to celebrate the festival with their families and loved ones.
Kashyap further urged visitors and tourists to plan their travel accordingly and to avoid any inconvenience. He also wished everyone a happy and prosperous Diwali.
