SJVN CMD Lays Foundation Stone for Office Building at 210 MW Luhri Stage-1 HEP Project in Himachal Pradesh
Shimla, February 27, 2024: Smt. Geeta Kapur, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (SJVN), visited the 210 MW Luhri Stage-1 Hydro Electric Project in Himachal Pradesh today. During her visit, she marked significant milestones by:
- Laying the foundation stone: for the office building at the project’s dam site in Palahi village, Kullu district.
- Inaugurating the portable cabins: which will serve as a temporary site office until the permanent building’s completion.
Project Progress Review and Commendation:
Smt. Kapur, accompanied by Project Head Sh. Sunil Choudhary and senior officials, comprehensively reviewed the ongoing construction activities. These include:
- Power House
- Forebay Penstock and Plunge Pool
- Nallah Diversion
- Hydro-Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Works
Expressing satisfaction with the progress across all sites, Smt. Kapur commended the project officials and contractors for their dedication and adherence to the planned schedule. This ensures timely achievement of critical project milestones.
