SJVN, a leading public sector undertaking, has been honored with two prestigious awards during the 15th CIDC Vishwakarma Awards 2024. The company has been conferred with the ‘Achievement Award for Creating Social Development & Impact’ and the ‘CIDC Partners in Progress Trophy’ in recognition of its innovative and sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Smt. Geeta Kapur, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN and Chairman of CSR Foundation, expressed her pride in receiving these awards for the third consecutive year. She highlighted that SJVN has spent over Rs. 450 Crores on various CSR activities, including Education & Skill development, Health & Hygiene, Infrastructural Development & Community Asset Creation, Preservation & Promotion of Local Culture and Sports, Sustainable Development, and Assistance during Natural Disasters.

The awards were received by Sh. Baljeet Singh, CGM(HR), on behalf of SJVN during a ceremony held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The CIDC Vishwakarma Awards, instituted by the Construction Industry Development Council, recognize organizations and individuals for their contributions to the growth and sustainable development of the nation.
