Skilling for the Future, trained manpower is the need of an hour

The world of work is changing and some jobs are changing faster than others. According to the latest research, soon we’ll be only as good as the skills we possess. But which are they, how can we make sure we keep pace?

To discuss this a Workshop Session on “ Skilling for the Future” was conducted by Chandigarh Skill Development Mission on 2nd November 2022 at Hotel Mount view.

Eminent keynote speakers from the Academia and the Industry spoke on the need of trained manpower in the field of Nursing Practitioners, Genetic Counselor, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Digital Marketing Digital Content Creators, Artificial Intelligence Practitioners and the Green jobs In the coming a few years. They also highlighted the vision of the honorable PM for the Skill training for Women in non traditional jobs, reskilling & up-skilling for those who lost their jobs amid Covid Pandemic. To get an idea of this and what challenges lie ahead, the tools needed to tackle them a panel discussion was done by the different sectors of the Industry
