Continuing the festivities, Sudhir Sharma inaugurated a majestic 150-meter high tricolor flag at Katchari Chowk in Dharamshala. Part of the Smart Road Project, this monumental flag is not merely a symbol but an embodiment of pride and patriotism. Sudhir Sharma expressed his vision for this project, recalling a dream where a high tricolor flag graced the cityscape of Dharamshala, sending a powerful message to both Indian and international tourists.

Speaking about the significance of the Smart Road Project, Sudhir Sharma highlighted its pivotal role among the 75 projects undertaken for the development of the Smart City. As the project advances, Dharamshala is set to witness a transformation, both in infrastructure and as a tourist destination. The illuminated tricolor flag, visible even at night, is poised to become a landmark, joining the ranks of attractions like the Dalai Lama’s residence, HPCA Cricket Stadium, Martyr Memorial, and more.

Sudhir Sharma extended his congratulations to the entire Dharamshala constituency, Kangra district, and the people of the state for these extraordinary additions to their city. He emphasized that all Smart City projects are progressing rapidly, with municipal wards experiencing accelerated development. In a bid to ensure accessibility and responsiveness, MLA offices have been established in Dari, Dharamshala city, and Dhagwar to directly address public concerns.

This momentous day marks not only the elevation of structures but a promising ascent for Dharamshala on the national and global stage, redefining its identity as a city of significance and cultural richness.
