This dedication was recently showcased at the 3-day International Conference on Nonlinear Analysis and Applications (ICNAA 2024) & Symposium on ancient Indian Mathematics, held at Pandit Lalit Mohan Sharma Campus, Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Rishikesh.

Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director, THDCIL, emphasized the company’s vision of not only providing 24/7 power but also being a steadfast partner in national development.

Sh. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), inaugurated the conference, which aimed to honor the legacy of Late Professor S. L. Singh. The event brought together renowned faculty members from across the globe to share their expertise in nonlinear analysis and celebrate the rich heritage of Indian mathematics.

THDCIL, a strong advocate for academic excellence, views this conference as a platform for participants to share their knowledge at the national and international level. Sh. Singh also acknowledged the esteemed guests, including Mrs. Krishna Singh, wife of Late Prof. S.L. Singh, and prominent academicians.

Highlighting the conference’s significance, Sh. Singh expressed his pride in honoring an internationally acclaimed mathematician from a humble background in Uttarakhand. The conference served as a platform to inspire the younger generation by showcasing the importance of mathematics and the contributions of legendary mathematicians like Srinivasa Ramanujan, Aryabhata, and Bhaskaracharya. He further commended the visionary leadership of engineers like Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya and Dr. E. Sreedharan.

Underscoring THDCIL’s commitment to social development, Sh. Singh spoke about the company’s belief in education as a driving force for progress and innovation. THDCIL’s initiatives include the establishment of a state-of-the-art Engineering College in Bhagirathipuram, Tehri, to nurture young talent.

Furthermore, THDCIL actively fulfills its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by promoting education through various initiatives. These include running three schools that provide quality education to over 850 underprivileged children and a computer training center to equip young people with job-oriented digital literacy skills.
