The benefits of digital connectivity will reach everyone through 5G services – Dr. Nipun Jindal

Reliance Jio 5G has launched its 5G services in Dharamsala and Kangra cities of Kangra district from today. The service for  both the cities was started at Dharamsala in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nipun Jindal.

“With the availability of 5G services in Kangra district will bring benefits of digital connectivity to everyone including students, businessmen and professionals. Youth associated with start-ups would also be able to take advantage of technology in their future ventures. These 5G services would prove to be a boon for all those IT professionals who want to work online while living in the serene environment and beautiful valleys of district Kangra,” said Dr. Nipun Jindal.

 He said that this would also bring fundamental changes along with new possibilities in sectors like tourism, agriculture, education and manufacturing.

He said, “ we all have seen the benefits of digital connectivity during the pandemic. Telecom and digital services helped the government to connect with the citizens and give all kinds of help and support during difficult times.  with the expansion of 5G services, the digital infrastructure in the district would be further strengthened.”

Last  month the 5G services were launched in Shimla, Hamirpur, Nadaun and Bilaspur in the state . “This launch is an important milestone for the people of the state, who will benefit immensely from Jio’s 5G services.
