Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday announced that he will lead the campaign during the Jalandhar (West) Vidhan Sabha constituency by-election and ensure a resounding victory for the party candidate.

The Chief Minister said that he would personally seek votes for the party candidate by telling about the pro-people and pro-development policies of the state government. He said that the state government has taken many historic initiatives, due to which people will vote for the party in the by-elections. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that he will ensure a strong victory of the party candidate in the by-election.

The Chief Minister further said that he will set up a permanent camp in Jalandhar in the coming days so that the party can win this seat with a historic margin. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that he will strategize the party’s election campaign from a rented house in Jalandhar city. He said that he will stay in this house for at least two to three days a week and will ensure the victory of the party.

The Chief Minister said that even after the elections, this house will serve as the Chief Minister’s camp office for the residents of Doaba and Majha region. He said that the residents of these two areas can come to this camp office to get their routine work done. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that he would be personally present with the people at this camp house for effective and immediate redressal of the grievances of the people.

The Chief Minister said that the Punjab government is going to set up Chief Minister Assistance Centers in every district of the state so that people can avail government services through them. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that a dedicated officer would sit in this center and receive applications from the common people for their day-to-day administrative work. He said that the applications regarding the administrative works related to the district will be sent to the concerned departments so that the work can be carried out immediately. Applications related to the state government will be sent to the Chief Minister, from where they will be forwarded to the administrative departments for quick resolution.

The Chief Minister said that the ‘Mukh Mantri Dashboard’ will continuously monitor the overall activity along with getting feedback from the common people about their applications and pending works in the districts. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this will ensure the execution of the daily tasks of the general public in a timely manner. He said that the officials will regularly monitor this dashboard to ensure that people do not face any kind of problem while doing their normal administrative work.
