Tragic Car Accident in Shimla: Couple Dies, One-Year-Old Child Missing After Plunge into Pabbar River

Shimla, August 23: A devastating car accident occurred in the Jubbal sub-division of Shimla district, resulting in the deaths of a couple and the disappearance of their one-year-old child. The victims have been identified as Susheel Kumar (29) and his wife Mamta (27), residents of Jhalta village.

The tragic incident unfolded on Thursday evening when Susheel Kumar, while traveling to Jhalta village, lost control of his vehicle near the Bhalu Kyar area. The car veered off the road and plunged into the Pabbar River. Local residents witnessed the accident and promptly alerted the police.

A team from the Rohru police station, assisted by locals, arrived at the scene and recovered the bodies of Susheel and Mamta from the river. The bodies were transported to the Civil Hospital in Rohru for post-mortem.

Authorities have launched an extensive search operation for the missing one-year-old child. The police are working tirelessly to locate the child and bring them to safety. The community and local officials are deeply concerned as the search efforts continue.
