The police have seized the toy train and, based on a complaint by Jatinder Pal, have filed a case against the operator, Saurabh from Bapudham, and the train company owners for negligence and unintentional harm. The boy was riding the train with Navdeep’s son when the accident happened. CCTV footage revealed Shahbaz attempting to exit the train moments before the crash, highlighting lapses in safety protocols. This incident raises serious concerns about the safety measures at recreational facilities. The family, devastated by the loss, has taken the boy’s body back to Nawanshahr after the postmortem. The police investigation is ongoing, focusing on the contractor operating the toy train for Elante Mall and scrutinizing their adherence to safety regulations.
