Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Arrives in Chandigarh, Paving the Way for Inclusive Development

Governor Banwarilal Purohit ceremoniously launched the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Chandigarh, a nationwide initiative aimed at fostering inclusive development. The Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) vehicle, equipped with a real-time data capture system, will disseminate information about government schemes and conduct interactive sessions with citizens.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, which originated in Khunti, Jharkhand, has now spread across India, reaching Chandigarh as a symbol of comprehensive development. The Yatra aims to bring the benefits of government schemes to all segments of society, including interactive sessions with beneficiaries, celebrations of local achievements, on-the-spot quiz competitions, and health camps.

The Yatra also emphasizes transparency and real-time data capture, with the IEC vehicle continuously tracking vehicle movements and documenting ground-level activities. The data will be integrated into a portal developed by the Digital India Corporation under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, providing senior officials with instant access.
