Vistadome coaches for Kangra Valley : Kishan Kapoor

Lok Sabha Member from Kangra constituency , Kishan Kapoor has said that in order to attract more domestic and foreign tourists to the Kangra Valley of Himachal Pradesh, the Ministry of Railways will soon introduce  two first class air-conditioned Vistadome coaches   in the Kangra Valley Narrow Gauge section.  He said that with the availability of these coaches, tourists entering Kangra Valley through rail will get an opportunity to see the natural aura of this region.

In a press release issued here today Member of Parliament Kishan Kapoor informed that Vistadome coaches are equipped with transparent glass windows and state-of-the-art chairs. He said ,”At present Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala has developed modern Vistadome narrow gauge coaches for Kalka-Shimla Railway section which are under trial. As soon as this trial is completed, such coaches will also be introduced  in the Pathankot-Jogindernagar section.”

  Member of Parliament Kishan Kapoor also thanked the Ministry of Railways for taking action on the proposal of reconstruction of bridge number 32 located on this railway line and inclusion of Himachal tour in the tourism programs of IRCTC. He also thanked the Ministry of Railways for including three stations of this section under the Amrit Bharat station scheme.
