The elections witnessed dramatic developments, including cross-voting and invalid ballots, particularly among Congress legislators. Saini did not hold back in his response, claiming that nearly “25 percent” of the Congress Legislature Party had shifted loyalties, a statement that triggered sharp political reactions.
