She revealed that 4,054 villages and 859 wards have been declared drug-free. Over 1.96 lakh youth participated in sports activities across 2,515 villages, and nearly 16.5 lakh people have attended awareness programs on the dangers of drug abuse. These measures, she said, are vital for maintaining the state’s focus on both crime reduction and public welfare.
